Promoting Instructor Social Presence Through Video

This project was developed in Articulate Storyline and is intended to provide training for faculty in higher education on Department of Education (DOE) guidelines for regular and substantive interaction (RSI), the advantages of strong instructor social presence, and a basic understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

 

Learning Objectives

 

As a result of this training, learners will be able to:

  1. Define DOE expectations for Regular and Substantive Interaction.

  2. Identify the three main principles of Universal Design for Learning.

  3. Develop strategies for promoting instructor social presence through video that adhere to UDL principles and satisfy DOE guidelines.
